TIPS FOR CROSSING INTO CANADA-- IT'S REALLY EASY. PASSPORTS ARE NOT REQUIRED.

PASSPORTS ARE NOT REQUIRED UNTIL 2009 FOR LAND CROSSINGS.. You must have proof of citizenship (birth certificate) readily available and a photo ID- drivers licence. Have birth certificate for children. If travelling with children who are not a part of your immediate family, have a note that the child has permission to cross the border with you.

The US Departments of State and Homeland Security has announced US citizens will not be required to show a passport at land crossings until 2009.
